commission for Mistaken Faerie
[23-12-2012] This took me 23 days to complete... Auurggh... Way to long! I need to learn how to colour and shade/tone faster. I managed to draw the rough sketch and the lineart fairly quickly, it was colouring the picture and then shading/toning it that really drained me. Anyway~ this is a Klaine [Kurt and Blaine from Glee] couple art I did for Mistaken Faerie from Gaia. It was fun drawing a shounen-ai picture ^w^. The tree took just as long as the characters haha! I learnt a lot about my colouring technique while doing this, and hopefully in 2013 I can improve so that I can colour and shade more quickly and at a higher quality =]
Commission for Eden-san
[26-11-2012] This commission took me quite a while to complete. Apart from going through some rough life issues, there was also the background, tones, and the pose. Most of the background was experimental but I liked the way it turned out =] Learning bit by bit.
Commission for Lady Delaidra
[03-10-2012] 4pm, and it took me way too long to finish this. Granted it did take me about less than 24 hours. (started at 4:48pm 2nd OCT and finished at 4:02pm 3rd of OCT) But I could have finished it quicker. Ah wells.
[03-10-2012] It is 2 am in the morning.... I obviously have great sleeping habits. (=w=) This is the progress of an art commission for 'Lady Delaidra' from GaiaOnline.com. Left to right : Clean lines + flat colours, Clean[ish] lineart, Primary sketch + colour scheme. I decided not to draw the legs, purely because it was difficult to get them just right. Instead I plan to shade and tone the shizz out of this image =3. The floral pattern on the dress was hard since I had to make it myself using GIMP. But it turned out quite alright. (^w^)
Growing up
[02-10-2012] Today I felt like I was getting older, and I realized that as I age (and deteriorate) my OCs tend to possess the power of eternal youth. Well, due to the spiteful nature and ever growing sense of hatred that comes with old age, I decided to draw my two favourite OCs at a later stage of their lives.
My twins Noelle and Noah, age 25. Noelle practically looks the same, her hair is just ever so slightly longer and her fringe now covers all of her forehead. Noah on the other hand, wow-motherluver! He has a proper jaw line now! Plus the facial hair, earring and new hair style, I hardly even recognized him. Ah~! my little kids are growing up ^w^ |
